2008 Pediatric Dermatology Salary Survey

Do you remember this information from SPD’s 2002 salary survey?

• An assistant professor (in practice for three years or less) reported an average compensation of $138,438.

• A full professor (in practice for an average of 33 years) reported an average salary of $212,000.

• A full-time private practice pediatric dermatology physician (in practice for an average of nine years) reported an average annual salary of $204,600.

Published data exists for both Dermatology and Pediatrics, but this data is currently unavailable for Pediatric Dermatology. In an effort to rectify this knowledge gap, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology (SPD) conducted its first survey in 2002. The organization has now launched a 2008 survey for comparison and would appreciate your input.
