Research is integral to the field of pediatric dermatology as we continue to learn and grow. Yet many are daunted by the idea of research, not sure how or where to start. This session is aimed at encouraging members of our field to participate in research
and providing you with the tools to conduct research. There will be presentations by
guest experts on the IRB approval process, regulatory issues, conducting multisite trials, and working with industry. An experienced panel will provide key tips for developing
a research infrastructure for doing pediatric dermatology clinical research

MOC Self-Assessment: Pediatric Dermatology

This session is geared specifically for those currently enrolled in MOC-D. It features short case studies that relate to the diagnosis, treatment and management of pediatric dermatology conditions. Participants will answer questions, see how their colleagues responded and then engage in a detailed review of all the responses. Upon completion, attendees will earn credit for 25 of the 100 self-assessment questions
they must complete every three (3) years in MOC. Note that this is a different program than the one offered at each AAD Annual Meeting. A minimum of 25 people
will be required to hold this session.
