Propranolol in Infantile Hemangiomas: Results from an International Double-Blind, Randomized, Placebo Controlled, Multidose, Adaptive Phase 2/3 Study

This presentation will outline a phase II-III multicenter double-blind randomized, controlled trial using an adaptive phase II/III study design treating infants aged 1 to 5 months with proliferating infantile hemangiomas (IH) requiring systemic therapy. Patients received either placebo or one of 4 regimens (1 or 3 mg/kg/day divided BID for either 3 or 6 months). Safety and efficacy results will be presented.
