Affiliated Dermatology®, one of the fastest growing dermatology groups in the country, requests CVs from individuals that are fellowship trained in pediatric dermatology and BC/BE. We have a unique opportunity for a very motivated individual to participate in the development of their own state of the art pediatric division. Affiliated Dermatology® provides care for over 50,000 patients and is growing at a rate of over 10%. We actively provide care for over 30,000 patient visits annually. Our focus is to provide comprehensive med/surg care to the entire family unit. We have a large community presence with ten dermatologists and no physician extenders. There are five active Mohs surgeons, and three fellowship trained dermatopathologists. Also, our group actively participates in large pharma clinical trials, and continues to seek other collaborative research opportunities. Additionally we have a strong “slow” Mohs program for melanocytic and atypical neoplasms, where 100% of tumor margin is surveyed, utilizing applicable immunostains. Currently, we are completing construction of a new 10,000 sq ft facility (clinic and lab) which is part of the Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak Hospital and Professional Building complex. We also have 3 other clinical facilities (5-6k sq ft each) strategically positioned in the Valley, giving us a total of almost 25,000 sq ft. Our group is extremely eager to develop another pediatric center for the state. Currently, there are only 3 full service pediatric dermatology centers in our state of 6 million people. Given that Phoenix is one of the fastest growing cities in the country, volume is not an issue. This opportunity is the first of at least 2 positions that will be filled. Our commitment to filling this position is reflected in our compensation package, including a 50k signing package and a commitment to keep annual compensation at a level within the 99 percentile for the country. Other benefits include healthcare insurance, dental insurance, malpractice insurance, one month of vacation, and any applicable professional fees. The selected candidate will receive funding support to develop a laser program. Our goal is to provide top down pediatric service, including treating as many complicated pediatric issues as possible. Over the 10 years of our existence we have found that treating the family is the key to our business model, starting with children.
