The newly established Department of Dermatology at North Shore LIJ Health System in Long Island, New York is seeking fellowship trained Pediatric Dermatologists to join the full time academic faculty. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of subspecialty clinical and research programs in pediatric dermatology with the support of the department, the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Children’s Hospital, and the North Shore LIJ Health System. With this position, there are opportunities to incorporate interdisciplinary clinical and translational research as well as teaching and training. There will be ample administrative support for program development and for clinical and research activities. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the community of private and academic pediatricians and pediatric dermatologists in the region. The Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, treating over 230,000 children per year, is the largest pediatric teaching hospital in the New York metropolitan region and has the area’s only pediatric bone marrow transplantation program.
